Muss Buss is Jamaican patois slang, which means: must bust out, must make yourself be heard and visible. For Indie artiste this is sometimes hard to achieve. The show’s creator Allen Kwesi Arthur “TrapGAD” has been in the industry as a reggae dance hall artiste and producer for 22 years. He has faced many obstacles along the way.
The Muss Buss Show, created in 2016, is an interactive platform where everyone is allowed to express themselves. The audience can send in their shout-out videos, music performances, and questions for our spotlight artiste segment. Our featured artiste segment gives seasoned musicians a opportunity to showcase their talent while inspiring the “Underground” artistic community. TrapGad stated, “We featured a live performance by award winning female reggae/ dance-hall artiste; Beme Mystique on episode 2 in she and her husband Jim Brown’s private studio in Atlanta Georgia and profiled one of the fastest uprising reggae dancehall talents called Betterdays in Ghana, West Africa! In this time of the “Vid” virtual concerts are the wave of the future, anyone and everyone can get the opportunity to shine. Every show is different and exciting, we have a worldwide stage to fill all the way from Ghana.”
